Career Profile

I am a seasoned Software Engineer with over 9 years of experience specializing in Identity and Access Management (IAM). Currently, I serve as a Technical Lead III at WSO2, where I demonstrate a robust blend of technical acumen and leadership skills. My role involves leading the cloud development sub-team, representing the architecture group, and overseeing overall design. Additionally, I am a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka, where I impart knowledge on Distributed Systems & Cloud Computing and Software and Hardware Optimization Techniques.

Throughout my career, I have honed a diverse set of technical skills including Java, Identity Protocols (SAML, OIDC, OAuth 2.0, STS), Object-Oriented Development, DBMS, Information Security, and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA). I also have experience in mobile application development using Android and Flutter. My contributions to the field have been recognized with awards such as the Sustained Outstanding Contribution Award from WSO2 and the Highest Scorer for Java subject from NIBM.

My educational background includes a BEng in Software Engineering with First Class Honors from the University of Westminster and a strong foundation in physical sciences from DS Senanayake College.
